From six teams to eight
The PSL began in 2016 with five franchises. Multan Sultans joined in 2018, and the league stayed at six teams until PSL 2026, when it expanded to eight with two new franchises: Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindiz. Hyderabad Kingsmen reached the final in their first season. The same eight teams return for PSL 2027.
Each team page lists the owner, home ground, captain, titles and last season’s results. Each team’s schedule and squad have their own pages, and those update automatically when fixtures and signings are announced.
