Editorial Policy & Sources

This page explains where the information on PSL Schedule comes from, how we check it, and how we correct mistakes.

Sources we use

  • Official: Pakistan Cricket Board press releases (pcb.com.pk) and the official PSL website (psl-t20.com). These are the only sources we treat as confirmed.
  • Scorecards: results and innings scores are cross-checked across at least two independent scorecard sources before publication.
  • Established media: outlets such as Dawn, Geo, The Express Tribune and ESPNcricinfo, for news that is not yet official. We label this as reported.

How we label information

LabelMeaning
ConfirmedAnnounced by the PCB or the PSL. Linked to the announcement.
ReportedReported by credible media but not yet official. May change.
ExpectedA reasonable expectation based on past seasons, clearly marked as such.
AwaitedNot announced yet. We show the slot and leave it empty, and never fill it with a guess.

Last season’s information

Before a new season’s fixtures and squads are announced, team pages show the previous season’s schedule, results and squad as reference. These are always labelled with their season (for example “PSL 2026 squad”) so they are never mistaken for the new season.

Corrections

If you spot an error, tell us. We check every report against the sources above and correct confirmed mistakes promptly. Every data page shows when it was last updated.
