About Multan Sultans
Multan Sultans represent Multan and South Punjab and play at Multan Cricket Stadium. The current team began as the Sialkot expansion franchise in January 2026 and took the Multan Sultans name in March 2026, before its first match. Under Ashton Turner it finished fourth in PSL 11.
The Multan Sultans name has a two-part history. The original Multan franchise joined in 2018 and, under the Tareen family, won the 2021 title and finished runners-up in 2022, 2023 and 2024. When that ownership ended in late 2025, the PCB sold those franchise rights to Walee Technologies, who moved the team to Rawalpindi as Rawalpindiz. Separately, the new Sialkot franchise bought in January 2026 was renamed Multan Sultans in March 2026 under CD Ventures, and played PSL 11 under that name. The PSL continues to credit the Multan Sultans name with the 2021 title.
Home ground: Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan.
